Recently, I just finished the best TV series. Ever. Actually, it might be one of my favorite TV series besides One Tree Hill. I got so hooked and probably watched 20 episodes within one week. That’s kind of embarrassing… Oh well! That’s how it goes. I guess the producers did what they wanted- they grabbed my attention!
The show I am obsessed with is… White Collar. This show is so good. It is so addicting. I love this show and I am highly considering watching this again sometime soon.
After I finished this whole series, six seasons (!!!), within one month, I decided that maybe I should stop watching mindless TV… I love Netflix because it is so easy to watch at the end of a long day, but at the same time, it is not fulfilling at all. I don’t learn anything while watching TV. It is just mindless, which can be good some times, but I don’t want to spend all of my time watching TV. So, after watching so much TV, I decided that I should start reading! In the past, I have loved reading. It is hard to find time to read, though. Now that I am saying it, I am realizing that I just did not have priorities in check. I would prioritize watching TV over reading a book.
Anyways, I read the best book. Seriously. One of my favorite books. Ever. A friend recommended an author named Charles Martin to me, so I decided to give his books a shot. I read Unwritten by him and I absolutely loved it. This book has so many plot twists and I have been trying to convince all of my friends to read it! Please read it!!! I need to talk to someone about it! So so good! I got this book on my kindle, but I think that I am also going to get the hard copy to keep in my collection.
After quickly finishing this book, I started The Chase, which is quickly becoming another one of my favorite books. This book is written by Karen Kingsbury’s daughter and son-in-law, which she dubs son-in-love (so cute!). They write mainly to an audience of young girls who are waiting for their happily ever after. This book encourages us to trust God with our futures and to chase Him first. I am almost finished with this book- it is so good!
Next, I am planning on reading/finishing The Best Yes, Redeeming Love, and Something Borrowed, a book that I recently got at Barnes and Noble for $5! I am so excited to get back into the reading phase!
What are your favorite books? Do you have any good recommendations?
