On the same trip that I went to Dallas, I also went to Las Vegas following the Dallas trip. I went out to Las Vegas to visit my sweet younger cousins after not seeing them for 2 years. While I was in Las Vegas, we did everything from having photoshoots to eating rolled ice cream to visiting a five story Restoration Hardware store.
This trip to Las Vegas (+ Dallas) was one of the best, most refreshing trips. I had so much fun laughing, dancing, and spending quality time with my family. My cousins have a special place in my heart, not only because they’re family, but because these kids have hearts a gold. They are the most thoughtful, innocent, and warm people you will ever meet. Credits to their parents for raising such darling kids.
The highlights of the trip were the rolled ice cream, the playing with leaves, and going to Restoration Hardware. Holy moly, y’all. The five story Restoration Hardware building did not disappoint and it was one of the prettiest things ever. From the lamps, to the decor, to the mirrors, to the chandeliers, everything seemed perfect. I mean, it is Restoration Hardware.
When we went to Rolled Ice Cream, it took about an hour in life before we placed our orders. I was expecting a different process than what I saw, but basically, there was melted ice cream that was poured on the cold surface. It was then spread out and rolled into what you see in the pictures. I am not much of a vanilla ice cream person, so I’m not sure why I chose to get the “cream” flavor, but it was still great, regardless.
I am so happy that I took this trip to Las Vegas. Did I mention that my cousins had no idea about my trip? Yeah, I completely surprised them and it made the trip that much sweeter. This trip was just what I needed to refresh and reset as the new year starts.
