As mentioned here, I have a newfound
love interest in running. For workouts, it is how I get my cardio in to stay healthy, and to be honest, I enjoy watching some Netflix or reality TV while running, only if I am running on the treadmill, of course.
Now I’ve read numerous articles, which may or may not have derived from Pinterest, and these articles recommend that for an average college student or anyone my age, these people should get 30-60 minutes of cardio at least 3-6 times per week. In addition to cardio, articles recommend strength training as well, with least 8-12 exercises per week.
So, I can check off my cardio for each week as I try, emphasis on the word, “try,” to run every other day. Yeah, I am busy, and sometimes I go a week without working out, but that’s just life. As for strength training, I enjoy looking up videos to stay in shape and to get toned. Over time, I have found some exercises/videos to follow that I have categorized as my favorites. These exercises really burn if you do multiple repetitions, too!
As you might be able to tell, I have a few workout programs/channels that I like more than others, but really, you can search for any workout on youtube and there will be a great one! A lot of the videos have the same moves, too! I like doing one of these workouts every other day, or sometimes every day if I feel like it. I might just nap instead of doing a workout though because why not? Naps are good for you, too. Let me know what your favorite workouts are!
