I recently got back from Paris, France. I went with my family for about 8 days for a graduation trip. It was a blast. We saw sights, we ate amazing food, and we walked a lot. This was my second time in Paris, and it was just as fun, if not more fun, as the first time. I took French in high school, so I enjoyed speaking the French I knew there. It was also fun reading all of the signs that were in French along with taking the Metro. By the end of the trip, I felt as if I had already memorized each line and it’s stops. I took a bunch of pictures, as in 2,000 pictures, and I will remember this trip forever!
This trip was definitely a great way to start the summer. It was so surreal and awesome, but I was happy to return to the United States after long eight days and two 10 hour plane rides.
The weather in Paris was rainy and cold for the first two days, and then it was very sunny and warm. The weather fluctuated, but I brought clothes that were versatile enough that I was comfortable. I brought a lot of scarves and I wore jeans almost every day. If I have to give one word of advice: bring and wear comfortable shoes. In Paris, you do a lot of walking, and you will most likely have long, packed days if you want to see all the sights and such.
Also, plan to do your sightseeing during the week! The weekends in Paris are so so busy, and there are people everywhere. Paris the second time, was just as great as the first, and I definitely recommend going there to anyone and everyone!
