Hello sweet people! My day started off by making my wonderful breakfast and then working on blog posts (I have some exciting ones coming after my trip!). For lunch, we ate at our staple restaurant , Le Pain Quotidienne. This time, I got a fruit salad and avocado mash. It was the perfect amount of food and it was tasty!
We then walked to the Palais Royal, where we walked through the gardens and saw the pretty roses. It was really nice because it wasn’t too crowded there! If you are a fan of symmetry, this place is for you. The trees are lined up perfectly and they are so picturesque.
By the time we left, it was already raining, so we took out our umbrellas and stroll around Paris until we found ourselves on Rue Cler (again).
Rue Cler is a wonderful place. We can already tell that this will be our new go-to. It has so many restaurants, yummy desserts, and a little bit of shopping. We went to La Maison de Chantilly (47 Rue Cler, 75007 Paris) and I got another yummy cornet, which is like a cone filled with whipped cream. But not just any whipped cream. This place is known for it. It was amazing and delicious.
After, we went to dinner at a place called L’Eclair (32 Rue Cler, 75007 Paris), also on Rue Cler. We went here kind of on a whim because we thought that someone had recommended it to us. I got a yummy Caesar salad and we all really enjoyed our meal. This restaurant is good for kids, but I wouldn’t go if you have a big crowd or you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. We were a little bit cramped, but we enjoyed the food ultimately.
When actually ate quite early this night. We were finished at 6:00 and decided to just head back to the apartment because it started down pouring as soon as we left the restaurant.
My plan was to go to sleep early, but I ended up going to sleep at midnight because I was in the zone with blogging. Tomorrow we head to Etretat, the place where Claude Monet painted several paintings. See y’all tomorrow!
