Hey y’all! I went to sleep very late last night so this morning I slept in until about 10:00. I had a relaxing morning until I found out that my external hard drive was totally wiped. Heartbreaking. All of my photos. All of my schoolwork. Everything. Gone. I have no idea how it all just disappeared, but it did. Luckily, before I left for Europe, I backed up almost everything on Dropbox, so I wasn’t too worried, but I was still upset. 400 GB gone.
Trying to get this fixed up (failed at that one) took me a few hours, so my day technically started at 2PM. My mom and I were on the hunt for a nail polish color because we were dying to paint our nails. We found Essie at a little shop near our apartment. We settled on “Mademoiselle” because it wouldn’t show chips and we both liked the color.
We went back and painted our nails and let me tell you. We feel like new people. It’s a wonder what freshly painted nails can do. Anyways, we stayed in here until about 5:00 when we realized that we were hungry and my dad was almost finished browsing the Musee D’Orsay.
We went to an average place that was similar to an old-fashioned diner you’d find in the States. I, funny enough, got a Thai dish there, which was pretty good! The experience was good, though, because we had a great waiter who was planning on going to NYC in two weeks! So exciting for him!
We walked over to our favorite crepe place because it was so close and we can never get enough. I swear we pick our dinner spots based on the proximity to this crepe place. It is that good.
We just walked back (in the rain of course) and now we are about to head to sleep before tomorrow’s new city! Bye!
