Hi! Today was our first full day in Arles, France. We decided to go to Saint Remy- hello rental car! It only took us about an hour to get to our destination. It seriously feels like this whole trip has been revolving around Van Gogh! First the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and now this! We have also seen many of his paintings throughout the trip.
Once we arrived, we headed straight to the hospital where Vincent resided. He painted many of his famous works here, and y’all might recognize his bedroom painting. This was painted here.
In the back of this hospital, there were beautiful lavender fields. I am so happy that I finally was able to see lavender! It is so popular in this area.
We grabbed lunch at a little local spot and then headed to Pont du Gard, where there is a very old Roman aqueduct. I really wish that I brought my bathing suit because there were people swimming and kayaking in the river below. It was a very hot day today, so a little swim would’ve been nice.
We then headed back to Paris and got back around dinner time. On the way back, we saw the most beautiful thing! We passed multiple sunflower fields! There were hundreds and thousands of sunflowers- it was spectacular! Definitely the best part of the day!

Such a cool video! Looks like a beautiful city.
