Spring break is finally over! Although I am sad that this week is over, I am ready to get back in the swing of things to get closer to summer! We had so much fun on spring break– it was definitely a trip to remember.
Everyday, we either went to the pool or the beach… The UV index was around 8/11 each day so needless to say, we got a lot of sun. I think that we all got sunburned a little bit. Next time, I’ll have to remember to be super careful because I got really burned on the second day.
One of the best parts about the trip is when we all went out to dinner at a place called ROKBRGR. We all went out to dinner together and had some yummy burgers. This restaurant is located on Atlantic Avenue and it has some amazing burgers and fries. It’s safe to say that we all overindulged and felt a little sick after from eating too much… Regardless, we still loved every bite!
Another one of my favorite times is when we all took pictures. We had a goofy time taking pictures. Every year for spring break, we designate one night to take pictures as a group and that is when we take individual photos too. I love our spring break group so much because we all are in different sororities, yet we get along so well! Every single girl in this friend group (+ more) have amazing personalities and they are all beautiful inside and out! Each girl is so different from the next, you can’t even compare us. I am so thankful to have such amazing friends that are uplifting and that love so well. I am friends with each of these girls and I know that every one of them has an amazing heart. While there are so many different personalities, we all just get along and work well together (for the most part). I just love this friend group that formed freshman year!
Freshman year, when we first all came together for spring break, we all barely knew each other. We basically put random groups of people together and hoped for the best. It ended being a great group and us as silly freshman called ourselves ZEDCHIMU, a mix between all of our sororities, Chi O, Zeta, ADPi, and Phi Mu. We even hash-tagged all of our photos #zedchimu. I may or may not still use the hashtag every spring break…
The last picture in this post is of the three girls I am living with next year. I am so excited to live with these girls- they are some of my best friends and I just can’t wait for senior year! Three of us are education majors, so that’ll be nice if we ever have to carpool to schools.
Next year for spring break, I am going to be student teaching, so my spring break will be different than everyone else’s. While this makes me sad, I am crossing my fingers to have the same spring break as some of my education friends in this friend group!
This spring break was definitely one for the books. My skin got tanner, my hair got lighter, and the stress slowly diminished. I hosted this spring break, so it wasn’t the most relaxing time, but it was overall fun and I enjoyed spending quality time with my friends.
