Hey y’all, today I am doing a collaboration post with Elly, from Elly’s Avenue. We are both doing posts about Spring Break! I am writing on what to do if you are traveling, while she is writing what to do if you’re at home! Go check out her post!
In high school, I typically stayed home for Spring Break. I had the luxury of being close to the beach, so I just went to the beach, but for my senior year of high school, I took a really fun ski trip with my friend! Last year, a bunch of my friends and I went to the beach for spring break. A group of 15 of us ventured down to the beach for our week-long spring break and we are planning on doing the same this year!
1 // Go to the Beach
If you have the luxury of living close to the beach (or if you live 6 hours away), this is a great option! The beach, if the weather is nice, is so fun and you can even get a nice tan! Just make sure to wear sunscreen! I love using self-tanner a week before spring break to give myself a nice glow.
2 // Go to a Park
I’ve never actually done this one before, but going to a National State Park would be SO fun. One day, I want to do to the Grand Canyon- how fun would that be? Taking a road trip to somewhere fun is a great idea. Getting your friends together and piling in a car can be so fun.
3 // Roadtrip!
This kind of tags along with the last one, but I think that road tripping to somewhere new is fun. For me, I think I would go somewhere new with a friend. Exploring someone’s hometown is a good way to adventure and go to a new place!
4 // Go Home
For those in college, going home for spring break can be so relaxing. For part of spring break, I am going to go home and I cannot be more excited. I absolutely love going home to spend time with family.
5 // Go on a Cruise
Okay, this idea might not be suitable for all people (not me! I wish!), because of age or the fact that it costs a pretty penny, but I would LOVE to go on a cruise one spring break. I think this would be a great idea for those who are seniors in high school or college.
Sometimes, it is best just to do something simple! Spring break doesn’t have to be extravagent or super well-planned. Sometimes, the last minute trips are the best ones! Have a safe and fun spring break!
