How to Stay Fit in College

January 9, 2015

more (1)

I have to admit, it is hard to workout and stay fit in college! It’s hard to find the time. I have a few essentials and a main workout that I like to do though!

Essentials

I like to have cute workout clothes to stay fit in, and a water bottle, some headphones, my phone, and sometimes my ipad, to read or watch netflix, are my essentials! Hey, the ipad helps the time go by!

My favorite place to buy workouts clothes is Athleta, Forever 21, LuluLemon, Old Navy, and GapFit.

My workout routine is pretty simple. What LISS stands for is Low Intensity Steady Cardio. An example is power walking. I like to do this for about 40-60 minutes on the speed 3.5-3.9 on the treadmill. I like bringing my iPad to catch up on my Netflix show or get in a couple of chapters on my newest book I’m reading. For the workouts I do, I either follow the PumpUp App workout that is customized, or I do a Blogilates or ToneitUp workout! I also make sure to stretch everyday, especially after each workout! I am kind of favorable to my ab workouts, so I like doing those the most, over leg workouts for sure! But alter this to however you want! I just like to make sure that I do cardio a few times a week! Make sure you also drink lots of water!

How do you stay fit?

[…] Pump Up is a workout app, but hey, I found it really useful in my first semester. In this app, you can choose and customize your own workout and what makes this app great is you can do these exercises in your dorm room, or at the gym! This app also gives you the option to target different muscles. Read about my workout plan in college to stay fit here! […]
