Hi sweet readers! Today was a major blogging day for me. I worked so much on my blog because I woke up at 6:30, not being able to go back to sleep. I worked for about 5 hours before it was time to head to lunch.
We headed to Mme. Shawn, our favorite Thai place for one last hoorah. Unfortunately, this time around, we didn’t have the best service and the waitresses were not very accommodating or pleasant. Our food was still great, though.
Next up, my dad and I headed to Versailles. I’m sure y’all have heard of this spectacular castle. It is so enormous with ornate decorations. I have been a few times before so we just walked through the gardens. On certain days, the admission to the gardens is free actually! We left when it began to rain and then we headed to the Place de la Concorde. This is where there is a massive sculpture to represent the guillotine that was once there. You can see this from both the Jardins de Tuileries and the L’Arc de Triomphe. We just did something simple for dinner and called it a night!
