Recently, I have really been loving to workout. I have come to the conclusion that I feel my best when I workout everyday. Whether it be a fast paced walk or a resistance workout, I feel like I have more energy and confidence through out the day. I typically work out after my classes for 30 minutes to an hour. For my resistance workouts, I just started Kayla Itsines’ BBG 2.0. I have used BBG 1.0 in the past, but I wanted to change up my routine, so I decided to upgrade to the second guide! On the days that I don’t use her guide, I do a fast-paced walk more commonly known as LISS.
My favorite workout clothes have recently been coming from Athleta, a clothing store that branches from Gap. They have had some really cute patterns and their clothes just seem to fit me really well!
Although I do love Kayla’s workouts, sometimes her arm workouts are just too tough for me (sadly) and my wrists hurts half-way through. If I want to switch up the workouts, I go to PopSugar Fitness to find a killer arm workout.
When I am finished with my workout, I like to replenish with some protein powder. My favorite has been the Select Protein Powder (linked above) in the flavor of Chocolate. I have figured out that chocolate is my favorite flavor in all protein powders. I sometimes make a shake out of them with almond milk, ice, and a frozen banana.
Now the reason that I have an iPad mini listed under my workout favorites is because if you don’t know this by now, I like to watch Netflix or read when I walk on the treadmill. I find that the time goes by quicker!
